God made man in love, to share in in His Divine Life, so we are all destined to return to Him. Thus, God calls everyone back to that original state of holiness which we lost after sin broke our oneness with Him. How we do this will be different for everyone because God made each one unique. What is the same for all is the path to sanctity God gives us as gift: by living in the Divine Will through union with His Son Jesus Christ, our perfect model of holiness, according to our individual circumstances.
