Throughout the centuries, God has revealed Himself and the depth of His love for His lost children according to their ability to understand and disposition to return to Him. First, He gave us the Law and His Word through the Prophets in the Old Testament, but these were insufficient. So, God sent His Word Incarnate in His begotten Son and our Savior Jesus Christ, as our perfect model of perfect holiness for our salvation. But Jesus’ gospel of perfect love in the New Testament says little of the Divine Will.  At the Last Supper, the Lord Jesus said, “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now” (John 16: 12). Knowledge of the Gospel of man’s Redemption would take time to spread over the centuries, and along with it, sinfulness in our increasingly turbulent world.

But where sin abounds, grace abounds even more.  So the profound aids to man’s Sanctification and final salvation are now given to us with the truths on Living in the Divine Will, as Jesus revealed to Luisa Piccarreta. They herald that era of sanctification Jesus implored and prophesied in the “Our Father” – only prayer He taught His disciples: “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” Jesus Himself tells Luisa that the completion and fulfillment of this prayer will come when the souls on earth live in His Divine Will, as the blessed do in Heaven. That time is now.
